CLIENT REVIEWS

What Clients Have Said

YH

Yap Hui Ling

PETALING JAYA — MARCH 2025

"The site survey was thorough in a way I hadn't expected. They came with proper measuring equipment, noted things I hadn't even thought to mention, and the written brief at the end gave me real direction. I went into the design drafting stage with much more confidence."

DAMANSARA — FEBRUARY 2025

"What I appreciated most was that the 3D renders came from actual measurements — not some generic room template. When the work was done, the space looked like what I'd seen in the drawings. That kind of accuracy is rare."

SUBANG JAYA — JANUARY 2025

"The weekly updates during construction made a big difference. My previous renovation had weeks where I had no idea what was happening. With Nook & Line, I always knew. They also flagged a material substitution the contractor tried to make — which I wouldn't have caught myself."

SHAH ALAM — MARCH 2025

"We used all three services for our new office fit-out in Shah Alam. The coordination between the survey brief and the final design package was seamless — nothing was assumed or guessed. The office looks sharp and, more importantly, it works well for our team."

KELANA JAYA — FEBRUARY 2025

"I came to them mid-project — after a previous designer dropped out — and they were able to assess what had been done and take it forward from there. Flexible and professional under what was a genuinely messy starting point."

PUCHONG — APRIL 2025

"The material specification document they produced for the design drafting stage saved us significant time when dealing with suppliers. Instead of describing what we wanted verbally, we just shared the spec sheet. Suppliers came back with accurate quotes on the first try."

CASE STUDIES

Project Outcomes in Detail

CHALLENGE

A 1,400 sqft apartment in SS2 with poor natural light distribution and no clear spatial flow. The client had attempted two design consultations elsewhere but received no actionable documentation.

SOLUTION

A site survey established the light conditions across different times of day. The design brief recommended a reconfigured living-dining connection and material palette that bounced light further into the space. The drafting package included lighting specification that addressed the core problem directly.

RESULT

Renovation completed in 10 weeks. The client reported the space felt "completely different" — notably brighter and more connected. No rework required during construction coordination. Final arrangement session completed the brief as planned.

TIMELINE: 14 WEEKS TOTAL — SURVEY TO FINAL ARRANGEMENT

CHALLENGE

A 2,000 sqft office fit-out in Ara Damansara. The client had a contractor lined up but no design documentation — meaning the contractor had nothing to quote or build from accurately.

SOLUTION

Design drafting service produced a full contractor-ready package in eight weeks: spatial layout, workstation plans, breakout zone specification, lighting placement, and material schedule. The contractor received the package and returned an accurate quote within five days.

RESULT

Build completed within 12 weeks, on schedule. During construction coordination, one material substitution attempt by the contractor was identified and addressed before installation. The finished office matched the 3D renders closely.

TIMELINE: 20 WEEKS TOTAL — DESIGN TO FINAL WALKTHROUGH

CHALLENGE

A client in Bandar Utama engaged us after an incomplete renovation stalled due to a contractor dispute. Partial demolition had been done; the brief was unclear; and the client wasn't sure what had already been decided.

SOLUTION

A site survey assessed the current state and documented what had been completed. A revised design brief was produced from actual existing conditions. A new contractor was brought in and briefed from the documentation. Construction coordination covered the remainder of the project.

RESULT

Project completed in 14 weeks from our involvement. The client had a clear record of decisions from this point forward — which was itself a significant improvement over the first phase. Space handed over with a final arrangement session.
